Thai Foot Massage

thaifootWelcome to Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage is an ancient method of massage, which incorporates aspects of Reflexology, Shiatsu, Chinese Massage, and Yoga.

Thai Foot Massage can be traced back over 2,000 years and appears to be strongly influenced by the Indian Ayurvedic system of healing as well as aspects of traditional Chinese Medicine.

What is Thai Foot Massage?

During the massage, you will be lying on a couch.  It is advised that you wear loose trousers or a full skirt for modesty reasons.  You are not required to remove any clothing expect your shoes, socks or stockings.

The treatment last approximately 30 minutes.  During this time your hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet will be massaged and or manipulated very gently whilst you listen to relaxing music.

Overall Thai Foot Massage can provide a sense of very deep relaxation and well-being as it is considered to be both physical and spiritual treatment.  It is not uncommon for people to experience a meditative process during the treatment that increases the overall affect of the care given.

After the session you will be asked to sit up for a little while and take a glass of water.  Once the Therapist is assured that you are fully with this world again you may return to your normal activities once more
